The Tasmanian Tigers will return to Women's National Cricket League action this week for their final two matches of the 2025 to 26 season against the New South Wales Breakers at Cricket Central in Sydney.

Tasmania are aiming to finish the season on a positive note after losing their past six matches. The side is still chasing its first win of 2026.

New South Wales currently lead the WNCL standings with four games remaining and enter the contest as the competition leaders.

Tasmania have made several changes to the squad that featured against the ACT earlier this month.

Opening batter and wicketkeeper Lizelle Lee returns after helping guide the Delhi Capitals to the final of the Women's Premier League in India.

Ruth Johnston, Tabatha Saville, Lauren Smith and Rachel Trenaman have also been cleared to return after missing the previous round due to injury.

They replace Chloe Casey, Julia Cavanough, Ava Curtis, Caitlin Mair and Clare Scott in the travelling squad.

Nicola Carey remains unavailable due to commitments with Australia’s white ball series against India.
