In a recent address at the Academy of Science in Afghanistan, Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs appointed by the Taliban, emphasized the importance of political neutrality from neighboring countries towards Afghanistan. Hanafi expressed the Taliban's commitment to fostering positive relations with all nations, asserting that Afghanistan does not intend to cause harm to its neighbors. He urged foreign entities to refrain from interfering in the internal affairs of the country.

During his speech, Hanafi emphasized the Taliban's desire for Afghanistan and its neighboring nations to experience growth and development collectively. He made it clear that the Taliban aims to avoid aligning with any international coalitions, drawing parallels with Afghanistan's historical stance of neutrality during World Wars I and II.

Hanafi conveyed a message to all Afghans, including those living abroad due to concerns, reassuring them of their safety and urging their return to the country. He stated that there is no threat to the well-being of Afghans, emphasizing the inclusive nature of the Taliban's governance.

In addition to political matters, the acting Minister of Hajj and Religious Affairs, Noor Mohammad Saqib, called for continued research in various sectors to contribute to the country's development. Abdul Baqi Haqqani, the head of the National Examination Authority, highlighted the need for experienced and academic individuals, encouraging Afghan youth to seek educational experiences abroad and apply their knowledge for the benefit of Afghanistan.

Hanafi concluded by addressing the increased security measures within the country and the Taliban's ongoing efforts to combat narcotics, underlining the multifaceted approach the group is taking to address key issues in Afghanistan.
