Nothing launches Phone 4a and Phone 4a Pro globally with upgraded storage, bigger batteries and mid range pricing. Sales expected soon via Flipkart in India.
Nothing Technology Limited on Thursday launched its latest smartphone lineup, the Nothing Phone 4a and Nothing Phone 4a Pro, during a global event streamed across its official digital platforms.
The launch event began at 4:00 PM IST and marked the global debut of the new Phone 4a series. The event also introduced the Nothing Headphone (a), the company’s first over ear headphones.
The smartphones were teased earlier through a dedicated microsite on Flipkart, which is expected to handle sales and availability for the Indian market.
Global launch event and availability
The unveiling was synchronised for a global audience on March 5, 2026, starting at 10:30 GMT. The launch timing translated to 4:00 PM IST in India, 5:30 AM EST in New York and 11:30 AM CET across Central Europe.
The event was streamed live through the company’s official website and YouTube channel. In India, the Flipkart microsite serves as the central hub for product information and availability updates. The page also includes a notification feature for users to receive alerts once sales begin.
Expected pricing for the new series
Official pricing was expected to be announced during the event. Industry leaks suggested competitive pricing for the new models.
The Nothing Phone 4a is expected to start at around $299, which is roughly £249 or ₹24,999. The Nothing Phone 4a Pro is likely to be priced higher at about $399, approximately £329 or ₹32,999.
The company is positioning both models in the mid range smartphone segment.
Hardware upgrades and features
The Phone 4a series is expected to deliver a performance upgrade compared to the previous generation devices.
Both smartphones are likely to feature processors from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon lineup along with UFS 3.1 storage for faster data transfer speeds.
The devices are expected to launch with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. They will be available in the brand’s signature Black and White colour options.
The Phone 4a Pro is tipped to offer an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance and faster charging support. The company is also expected to provide up to five years of security updates for the devices.
Signature design elements remain
Nothing is also expected to retain its distinctive Glyph Interface LED notification system, which has been a key design feature of the brand’s smartphones.
While early teaser pages revealed limited visual details, the Glyph lighting system is likely to remain a core part of the design language for both the Phone 4a and Phone 4a Pro.
