Renault Duster Launched in India at Rs. 10.49 Lakh, Full Price List and Features Inside
Renault launches the all-new Duster in India starting at Rs. 10.49 lakh with new design, features, and turbo-petrol engine options.
Renault India has launched the all-new Duster SUV in India at a starting ex-showroom price of Rs. 10.49 lakh, introducing a new design, upgraded features, and multiple powertrain options.
Built on the new RGM platform, the SUV is available in five variants: Authentic, Evolution, Techno, Techno+, and Iconic.
Pre-bookings for the model began in January at Rs. 21,000. The company said over 91 per cent of pre-orders were for the turbo variants. The hybrid version, set to debut later this year, has already been sold out, with no further bookings being accepted for the remaining period of the year.
The new Duster comes with two turbo-petrol engine options, including a 1.0-litre and a 1.3-litre unit. Transmission options include a six-speed manual, a CVT automatic, and a six-speed DCT. Renault has confirmed that a 1.8-litre turbo-petrol hybrid powertrain will be introduced later this year, likely around the festive season, paired with an automatic gearbox.
In terms of design, the SUV features a more rugged appearance compared to its predecessor. It gets LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, Duster lettering on the grille, and silver-finished skid plates at both ends. Other exterior elements include black wheel-arch cladding, roof rails, C-shaped LED tail-lamps, a full-width LED light bar, and a roof spoiler with a high-mounted stop lamp.
Inside, the SUV is equipped with a dual-screen setup. Key features include a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS, six airbags, powered front seats, ambient lighting, Type-C charging ports, dual-zone climate control, a powered tailgate, and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold.
The SUV will compete in the mid-size segment against models such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Sierra, Maruti Victoris, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, Honda Elevate, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Toyota Hyryder.
The company is also offering a seven-year warranty or up to 1.5 lakh kilometres.
