Vivo V70 Series India Launch on Feb 19: Expected Price, Specs and Features
Vivo V70 and V70 Elite set to launch in India on February 19 with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and 90W charging support.
Vivo is set to launch the Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite in India on February 19. The smartphones will expand the company’s V series lineup in the country.
Pre bookings are expected to remain open until February 24. Official sales are likely to begin from February 25. The devices will be available through Amazon and Flipkart along with offline retail stores.
The Vivo V70 Elite is expected to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. It is tipped to come with a 6,500mAh battery and 90W fast charging support. The device is also expected to carry IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings.
On the display front, the Elite variant is said to offer a 1.5K OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits. It may feature a flat screen design with slim bezels.
In terms of cameras, the Vivo V70 Elite is expected to include a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP Zeiss branded telephoto lens, an ultra wide camera and a 50MP front camera. Support for 4K HDR video and AI based audio cleanup tools is also expected.
The standard Vivo V70 is tipped to offer a similar camera setup with minor hardware differences.
Both smartphones are expected to run on OriginOS 6. The company is likely to provide four Android OS updates and six years of security patches.
Leaked pricing suggests the Vivo V70 may start at Rs 45,999 for the 8GB plus 256GB variant and go up to Rs 49,999 for the 12GB plus 256GB model.
The Vivo V70 Elite is tipped to start at Rs 51,999 for the 8GB plus 256GB variant. Higher configurations are expected to be priced at Rs 56,999 and Rs 61,999 based on RAM and storage options.
The launch will determine the response to Vivo’s latest offering in the premium mid range smartphone segment in India.
