Counting began at 8 AM on Tuesday under tight security. Early trends showed Congress leading in many areas, but as counting progressed, the BJP started to make significant gains. Currently, the BJP is leading in 31 seats, while Congress holds a lead in 38 seats.

- Bhupinder Singh Hooda: The former chief minister is leading in his Garhi Sampla-Kiloi seat in Rohtak district by 5,082 votes.
- Nayab Singh Saini: The current chief minister is ahead in the Ladwa seat in Kurukshetra district.
