Today, PM Modi will lay the groundwork for projects worth Rs.12, 600 crore
On Thursday, October 5, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Madhya Pradesh, which is preparing for elections. According to a statement from the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), he will dedicate and lay the cornerstones for a number of projects totaling Rs.12,600 crore, including rail and road construction and a memorial honouring Rani Durgavati.

The "Veerangana Rani Durgavati Smarak aur Udyaan" would be constructed in Jabalpur at a cost of over 100 crore and span nearly 21 acres. According to an official, it will feature a striking 52-foot-tall bronze monument of the Gond queen.
According to the official, the memorial would house a museum that will emphasise the history of the Gondwana region, particularly the bravery and chivalry of Rani Durgavati. Additionally, it will highlight the Gond people's cuisine, art, culture, and way of life, as well as that of other tribal communities.
In the past seven months, Modi has made nine trips to the state. On Gandhi Jayanti (2 October), he gave a speech at a gathering in Gwalior.
Light House Project in Indore
On Thursday, PM Modi will open a "Light House Project" in Indore. More than 1,000 eligible families will benefit from the project, which was built for around 128 crore under the 'Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Urban'.
Jal Jeevan Mission
Additionally, PM Modi will lay the cornerstone for numerous "Jal Jeevan Mission" projects totaling more than 2,350 crore in the districts of Mandla, Jabalpur, and Dindori. The 'Jal Jeevan Mission' project in Seoni district, which is valued over 100 crore, will be dedicated to the country by the prime minister.
For the sake of enhancing the road infrastructure in Madhya Pradesh, Modi will lay the cornerstones for and dedicate to the country projects totaling more than 4,800 crore. NH 346's Jharkheda-Berasia-Dholkhedi Road Upgrade Project, NH 543's Balaghat-Gondia Section Four-Laning Project, NH 47's Temagaon-to-Chicholi Section, NH 346's Boregaon-to-Shahpur Section, and NH 346's Shahpur-to-Muktainagar Section Road Upgrade Project are among the projects. Modi will dedicate to the country the upgrading of NH 347C's road that runs from Khalghat to Sarwardewla.
Also, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate a new bottling facility in Jabalpur that was constructed for around 147 crores.
Rail projects of more than 1,850 crore
The PM will dedicate rail projects worth more than 1,850 crore to the country during his visit. One of these initiatives is the doubling of the rail line that connects Marwasgram-Singrauli (78.5 km) and Katni-Vijaysota (102 km). Both of these are a part of the proposal to double the Katni-Singrauli portion of the line. According to the official, these improvements would strengthen the state's train infrastructure, which will help trade and tourism.
352-km-long pipeline
The project to build the Vijaipur-Auraiya-Phulpur Gas Pipeline will be dedicated by PM Modi to the country. The 352-km-long pipeline cost more than Rs. 1,750 crore to construct. The PM will also lay the cornerstone for the Mumbai-Nagpur-Jharsuguda Pipeline Project's (317 km) Nagpur-Jabalpur section.
