Iran launched missile attacks on the Israeli cities of Arad and Dimona, leaving over 100 people injured. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke with Arad Mayor Yair Maayan and expressed his condolences to the injured. The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that more than 100 people, including children, were wounded in the attacks.

" He added, "I am currently reinforcing the emergency and rescue forces deployed in the field."

In a social media post, the Ministry stated: "The Iranian regime has devastated Arad and Dimona by deliberately targeting civilians with missile strikes. Over 100 people, including children, have been injured. This constitutes both a war crime and an act of terrorism."

150 Families Evacuated to Safe Locations

According to Al Jazeera, Yair Maayan—the Mayor of Arad in southern Israel—reported that approximately 150 families have been evacuated from the affected area to safer locations. In a post on Twitter, Netanyahu remarked, "This is an incredibly difficult evening for us as we continue our ongoing campaign."

Reinforcing Emergency and Rescue Teams

He further stated, "I am currently bolstering the emergency and rescue forces deployed in the field, and I urge everyone to strictly follow the directives issued by the Home Front Command. We remain resolute in our determination to continue striking our enemies on all fronts." Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett also condemned the attack. In a post on X, he stated, "Our hearts are with Arad and Dimona at this time. We pray for the well-being of the injured and their families."

Iranian Missile Targets Dimona

Former Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid also remarked that a major disaster has unfolded in Dimona and Arad, leaving dozens of people injured. "We stand in support of the security and rescue forces currently working to save lives, and we wish the injured a speedy recovery. We are all with you." Earlier in the day, an Iranian missile targeted Dimona, the site of Israel's nuclear facility.
