Online registration for the Chardham Yatra has begun; know the complete process

The online registration process for this year's Chardham Yatra has begun in Uttarakhand. No pilgrim will be allowed to travel without registration. Devotees can register for the Chardham Yatra, which begins on April 19th, from the comfort of their homes through the website, mobile app, or WhatsApp.

For the convenience of pilgrims, this time, both online and offline registration options are available. A total of 50 counters have been set up for offline registration. However, you can easily register online from the comfort of your home.

How to register online for the Chardham Yatra?

• If you are registering through the website, first visit its official website registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in.

• Click on the 'Register/Sign In' option on the website's homepage and create an ID by entering your details (name, mobile number, etc.).

• After logging in, go to the 'Create/Manage Tour' option. Enter your travel plans (date and pilgrimage sites).

• Click on 'Add Pilgrim' and fill in the details of all pilgrims. You will need to upload your identity card (Aadhaar card, voter ID, etc.).

• After completing the process, a Unique Registration Number (URN) will be generated. You can then download your 'Travel Registration Form'.

Registration can also be done through a mobile app or WhatsApp.

Travelers can also register online for the Chardham Yatra by downloading the mobile app 'Tourist Care Uttarakhand'. Additionally, registration can also be done by sending a WhatsApp message to the mobile number 8394833833.
