Open the Strait of Hormuz, or I’ll turn it into hell; Trump once again threatened to completely annihilate Iran
Open the Strait of Hormuz, or I’ll turn it into hell; Power Plant Day and Bridge Day will be celebrated simultaneously’: President Trump threatens to annihilate Iran.
President Trump has once again threatened to completely annihilate Iran. He asserts that if Iran does not open the Strait of Hormuz by Tuesday (April 6, 2026), attacks will be launched against its power plants and bridges. He conveyed these remarks—laced with profanities—on the social media platform 'Truth'. He stated:
"On Tuesday, both 'Power Plant Day' and 'Bridge Day' will be celebrated simultaneously in Iran." He added, "Open the Strait of Hormuz, or you will end up in hell—just you watch!"
The United States has been continuously launching attacks against Iran; however, Iran still maintains control over the Strait of Hormuz. This strait is one of the busiest waterways in the world, through which approximately 20 percent of global oil and gas shipments pass. Meanwhile, the U.S. has successfully and safely rescued its two pilots from Iran. Following this development, President Trump appears to be adopting an even more menacing stance.
His 10-day ultimatum is also drawing to a close. President Trump had previously warned that if the Strait of Hormuz were not opened within 10 days, it would be subjected to such intense attacks that utter devastation would ensue.
Iran's Vice President, Mohammad Reza Aref, criticized Donald Trump. He remarked that Trump is unable to provide even basic amenities—such as healthcare—to the people of his own country, yet he continues to issue threats against Iran.
