Gate Smashed, Car Driven into Delhi Assembly
An unidentified white car—reported to be a Sierra—approached at high speed and crashed directly into Gate No. 2 of the Legislative Assembly complex. The gate was smashed, and the vehicle drove inside. This incident occurred around 2:00 PM.
Bystanders present at the scene were left utterly dumbfounded by the sight. There was a loud crash; people scattered in panic, while nearby rickshaw pullers and passersby rushed over to investigate.
Car Crashes Through Security Barrier
But before anyone could fully grasp what was happening, the car drove out of the complex and sped off in the opposite direction. Then came the most shocking twist: a short while later, the very same car returned. Once again, it rammed into the gate—and this time, it fled the scene completely. It is reported that the driver left a floral bouquet behind within the complex premises before making his escape. The entire sequence of events unfolded over a span of just five minutes.
What did eyewitnesses say?
Those present at the scene recounted that they first heard a loud noise—as if something had shattered. Upon looking up, they saw a white car inside the complex. People were initially unable to determine whether the incident was a deliberate act or merely an accident.

However, when the same car returned a second time—crashing through the gate once again before fleeing—it became abundantly clear that this was not an unintentional occurrence.

The police have launched an investigation into the matter, and CCTV footage from the area is currently being scrutinized. According to preliminary information, the car bears a Uttar Pradesh (UP) registration number.
