Assam Train Derail: Again a train accident news is coming out from Assam. The Agartala-Lokmanya Tilak Express train derailed near Dibalong station in. Meanwhile 8 coaches of the train derailed. Relief and rescue work is being done by the railway administration.
Major train accident in Assam
Though rain has derailed near Dibalong station in Assam. 8 coaches of Lokmanya Tilak Express derailed in Dibalong. However, a railway spokesperson said that no casualties have been reported due to the train derailment.
The accident took place in the Lumding-Badarpur Hill section of Lumding division. Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma also informed about the accident on X post.

Meanwhile this accident taken place with Lokmanya Tilak Express, due to which the trains coming and going on this route were diverted. However, there is no report of any passenger being injured in this accident.
As soon as the information about the accident was received, the team of railway administration reached the spot in a hurry and pulled out the passengers from the bogies.
All the passengers are completely safe. Now the team is clearing the tracks affected by this accident. However, the reason for the train accident is not yet known.
