Under-construction Bridge for bullet train, collapsed in Gujarat, 4 workers buried, rescue continues
Bridge Collapsed: A part of a bridge being constructed under the bullet train project collapsed in Anand, Gujarat, in which four workers are feared to be buried. In the meanwhile, accident taken place near Vasad village in Anand district.where the construction work of the bullet train track was going on.
As soon as the news of the accident was received, police, fire brigade, and other officials reached the incident place.
In this incident, two workers have been rescued, while 1-2 more people are likely to be buried under the debris. At present, rescue work is going on at the spot and the work of removing the debris is being done rapidly. It is a matter of relief that no death has been confirmed so far.

Bridge for bullet train collapsed
On the accident at the bullet train project site in Anand, DSP Anand Gaurav Jasani said, "A girder being installed at the bullet train project site fell today. In this incident, 2 people were rescued and sent to the hospital. According to preliminary information, 1 or 2 people may be trapped, the operation is going on to rescue them.
Some workers are feared to be trapped, while major construction works are being done under the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project, which also includes the construction of bridges.
Four workers buried
Meanwhile a total of 20 river bridges are to be built under this project in Gujarat, out of which 12 have been successfully completed. Recently, the work of a 120-meter-long bridge over the Kharera river in Navsari district has been completed. With this, the construction of bridges on all the nine rivers falling between Vapi and Surat bullet train stations has been completed.
Let us tell you that the bullet train running between Mumbai-Ahmedabad is India's first high-speed rail project, which is being operated by the National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL).
