Rahul Gandhi directed his criticism towards Prime Minister Modi during a session in Parliament, focusing on the Manipur issue. Rahul alleged that the Prime Minister had neglected Manipur, suggesting that his absence from the state signaled a lack of acknowledgment for its presence within India. He further stated that the actions taken had metaphorically caused harm to India's unity, as he accused the government of dividing Manipur into two segments, causing a figurative fracture.

Drawing a historical parallel, Rahul drew a comparison to Ravana, an antagonist in Hindu mythology, who was known for heeding only two individuals. In a similar vein, he claimed that PM Modi exhibited a tendency to solely listen to two individuals - Amit Shah and Adani. This remark implied a perception of concentrated decision-making power within the government.

After Rahul Gandhi's speech concluded, Smriti Irani delivered an impassioned response to his remarks. She expressed that, until now, there had never been a discussion about harming Mother India. However, such a discussion occurred within the House today, and Congress members applauded it.

Smriti Irani stated, "I won't comment on knee pain. However, I would like to address the narrative they are discussing."

She continued by saying, "In the meantime, he was spotted playing in the snow with his family in Kashmir, yet he might be unaware that such possibilities have arisen following PM Modi's abrogation of Article 370." Also recently a 14-year-old girl was gang-raped in Bhilwara, Rajasthan. After which it was cut into pieces, then put in the furnace. Two women MPs went there. There one hand of the girl was left outside the oven, then why didn't you demand justice? A 60-year-old woman in Bengal did not plead for justice when she was raped in front of her grandson. You didn't say anything about this either. Their history is stained with blood," said Smriti Irani.

"These people want a discussion in Manipur. Our leaders have stated that we are ready for a discussion. While he ran away, we didn't. What is the reason behind his escape when the Home Minister starts speaking? These people will remain silent."

Smriti Irani said, 'These people were silent on many things. They are still silent today.' International reports say there was a 9% impact on GDP due to his corruption, but he remained silent. Even today, there is silence. In 2005, the UPA government found out that open defecation led to the rape of women, yet they remained silent."
