UP CM Yogi Adityanath joins program offering clothes for Lord Ram

In preparation for the upcoming 'Pran Pratistha' ceremony at the Ayodhya temple, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath actively participated in a unique event on Tuesday. The program involved offering specially crafted clothes for Lord Ram, a symbolically significant step ahead of the grand ceremony.

The clothes for Lord Ram were meticulously crafted with the help of more than 12 lakh devotees associated with the Heritage Handweaving Revival Charitable Trust. This collaborative effort aimed to contribute to the spiritual significance of the upcoming ceremony.

During an event in the city, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath shared his vision for Ayodhya, emphasizing the transformation from a city marked by conflict to a hub of festivities. He highlighted the shift from gunshots to the soulful notes of Sankirtan in the name of 'Ram,' bringing an end to the curfew-stricken days.

Vedic rituals for the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya kicked off a week before the main event. Champat Rai, the general secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, provided details about the ceremony and the opening of the Ram Temple for public 'darshan' from January 23.
