UP Police Recruitment 2023: Application begins today! Check all the information here
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) started the application or registration procedure for the UP Police Constable post 2023 today, December 27. Interested and qualified applicants should apply online at uppbpb.gov.in, the UPPRPM's official website.
The job has 60,244 positions, of which 24,102 are for unreserved applicants, 6,024 are for EWS, 16,264 are for OBC, 12,650 are for SC, and 1,204 are for ST. According to the official announcement, the online application must be submitted by January 16th, the application must be duly submitted, and fees must be paid by January 18th.
What is the application fee?
The UP Police Constable Application cost is Rs. 400. The release further indicates that the male candidate must be at least 18 years old as of July 1, 2023, and must not be older than 22 years old, i.e., the candidate must have been born between July 2, 2001, and July 1, 2005.
What are the age criteria for these applicants?
For the female candidate application, the applicant must be at least 18 years old as of July 1, 2023, and not more than 25 years old, i.e., the candidate must have been born between July 2, 1998, and July 1, 2005.
Aside from that, preferred qualifications include those who have (i) achieved an 'O' level certificate in computer from the DOEACC/NIELT Society; (ii) served in the Territorial Army for a minimum of two years; or (iii) obtained a "B" certificate from the National Cadet Corps.
Male candidates in the General/OBC and SC categories must have a base height of 168 cm, whereas ST applicants enjoy a 160 cm relaxation. Female applicants in General/OBC/SC must be 152 cm tall, while ST candidates must be 147 cm tall.
