US Responds to Justin Trudeau's Allegations Regarding Killing of Khalistani Leader
The United States has voiced deep concern over the recent allegations made by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, linking Indian government agents to the murder of Khalistani leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar in British Columbia. The White House, through National Security Council spokesperson Adrienne Watson, emphasized its apprehension and called for Canada's investigative process to continue in order to bring the perpetrators to justice.
Furthermore, India highlighted its long-standing concern over the Canadian government's inaction in addressing this matter. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had previously raised similar allegations during a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 10, and on both occasions, these claims were unequivocally dismissed by the Indian side.
