US sending 900 troops to middle-east to support defences as they face increased attacks
In a new development in the ongoing war between Israeli forces and Hamas, USA has decided to send more troops to the Middle East. US troops are either deployed or are on their way to be deployed in Middle East. This move comes as the troops of US and other coalition nations have come under several attacks by Iran-affiliated groups.

Pentagon spokesperson Brigadier General Patrick Ryder said “I can confirm that since our initial Force posture announcement approximately 900 troops have subsequently deployed or are in the process of deploying to the US Central Command area of responsibility these include forces that have been on prepared to deploy orders and which are deploying from the continental United States.”
The spokesperson also made it clear that these troops will not be going to Israel, instead they will support in "regional deterrence efforts and further bolster US force protection capabilities. " The spokesperson denied clarifying the deployment locations.

Attacks on US
According to Pentagon officials, between October 17 to 26, US and coalition forces were attacked 12 separate times in Iran and 4 separate times in Syria.
US strikes in Syria
In an official press release by the US department of Defence, US confirmed that it carried out air strikes in Eastern Syria. The military forces of USA followed the orders of the President Joe Biden to undertake strikes at Syria. These strikes, come as a response by US defence forces. US forces have been on the receiving end of the assault by Iran backed groups until now.
As a response, USA carried out two strikes calling them as "self-defence strikes" on two facilities in the eastern Syria, used by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Ship and affiliated groups.
The attacks by Iran backed militia groups on US and coalition forces have cause injuries to 21 US personnel while another US citizen died of cardiac incident while he was sheltering in a place.
US will not tolerate
It is clear that United States is not in the mood to tolerate the acts by Iranian militia groups on its troops in Iran and Syria. According to the release, the President Joe Biden holds the security of US personnel with high priority and will not tolerate such attacks.
The North American giant also said, that USA does not want any conflict and hostilities, but will also not accept these attacks against its forces.
In very clear words, it mentions that US will not let Iran hid its actions and will not hesitate to take further actions if attacks by Iranian proxies continues.
This is a separate issue
Clarifying the Strikes, the department said that these strikes have nothing to do with the ongoing Israel-Hamas war, instead it is only a self-defence action taken by US to protect its citizens.
It further continued to urge all the state and non-state entities to not involve in the conflict to avoid the escalation of the conflict in the region.
