Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2024: By surpassing the signing of 28,360 MOUs in 2019, this summit is anticipated to break all prior records
This Wednesday's Vibrant Gujarat summit is predicted to surpass the 28,360 Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signings that the Gujarat Industries Development Corp. recorded in 2019. Rahul Gupta is the vice chairman and managing director of the organization.
On Wednesday, PM Modi will officially inaugurate the meeting
After pandemic limitations forced the cancellation of the 2021 edition, the event represents a major comeback for the state. On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially inaugurate the summit.
Prominent business leaders will be participating in this event
Prominent business figures, including ArcelorMittal's Lakshmi Mittal, Mukesh Ambani, Gautam Adani, Kumar Mangalam Birla, Vedanta Group's Anil Agarwal, Uday Kotak, and PhonePay's Sameer Nigam, will be participating in this year's summit.
In 2015, there were 21,304 Memorandums of Understanding; in 2017, there were 24,774 agreements, of which almost 70% were realized. Officials estimate that this year, 90% of the Memorandums of Understanding will be completed.
This summit will strengthen India-UAE relations
Furthermore, following PM Modi's attendance at the COP28 meeting in Dubai in December, it was expected that the summit would strengthen ties between the UAE and India. The president of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, will be the main guest at the Gujarat summit on January 9.
While serving as chief minister in 2003, Narendra Modi came up with the concept for the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit.
