Sometimes nature surprises us with surprises that are hard to believe. This is something that's making headlines these days. Before Valentine's Day, Jahan created a heart in the sky that left people in awe.
‘Nature's romantic aurora ever’: Clouds floating in the sky often form shapes that leave us stunned. Sometimes they resemble the face of an animal, sometimes a mountain shape, and sometimes something that simply blows our imagination. But nature isn't limited to clouds. It has many other amazing ways to surprise us. Recently, a similar sight was witnessed when a heart-shaped aurora appeared in the Norwegian sky.
Nature's 'Romantic' Surprise Goes Viral
Aurora is commonly known as the Northern Lights. It is a natural optical phenomenon that is more visible in the polar regions of the Earth. This time, the aurora's appearance captured the attention of people worldwide. This heart-shaped aurora was not only rare but also extremely emotional. This special moment was captured on camera by Norwegian photographer Christopher Wengen.
Heart of Stars Went Viral
This photo wasn't taken suddenly, but rather, it was the result of days of waiting and patience. In his Instagram post, Wengen explained that he had been trying to capture a specific shape in the aurora for a long time. Sometimes he hoped to see a bird-like figure, sometimes a skull or some other interesting form. But even after waiting for several nights, nothing materialized.
Then last Friday night, when the sky began to move, he noticed something different. Gradually, the green and pink light began to take on a shape that clearly resembled a heart. This was the moment he had been eagerly awaiting. Without delay, he picked up his camera and captured this rare sight. This photo was shared on social media on January 21.
'Heart' Appears in the Sky Before Valentine's Day
How are the aurora, or Northern Lights, formed? This question arises in many people's minds. In fact, charged particles are constantly emitted from the Sun. When these particles collide with Earth's magnetic field, they react with gases in the atmosphere, such as oxygen and nitrogen. The energy released during this collision is visible as light. Different gases and altitudes result in green, blue, red, and purple colors.
Northern Lights Form Glowing Heart
Aurora images often spark debate about whether they are created by artificial intelligence. In today's world, when AI can create incredibly realistic images, it's natural to be skeptical. But after seeing this heart-shaped aurora, most users believe it's not a product of technology, but a pure miracle of nature.
