South Africa is the most dangerous for solo female travellers, with only 25% of women feeling safe at night and the highest rates of sexual violence and female homicide

Brazil

This South American country ranked second in terms of crimes against women. Only 28% of women reported feeling safe walking alone at night and the country has the third- highest rate of intentional homicide against women

Russia

Russia has the second-highest rate of intentional homicide against women, contributing to its third-place ranking. It also has restrictive laws limiting women's societal and economic participation
