Easy Yoga Asanas to Alleviate Back Pain
Cat-Cow Pose
Get on all fours on the mat. Arch your back upward (Cat) and then dip it downward while lifting your head (Cow). Hold each position briefly
Downward-Facing Dog
From all fours, lift your hips up, keeping your hands and feet on the mat. Stretch your legs and push your glutes out. Hold the pose
Extended Triangle Pose
Stand with legs apart. Reach your right hand towards your right foot and look up. Repeat on the other side
Cobra Pose
Lie on your stomach, place palms under your shoulders, and lift your upper body while keeping your lower body on the mat. Stretch your back muscles.
Bridge Pose
Lie on your back with knees bent and feet flat. Lift your hips upward and place your palms under your glutes. Hold the position to strengthen your back.
