The scheme offered has the maximum amount to be deposited is 2 lakhs.
This is being launched by the government to commemorate the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The Finance Minister further enhanced the maximum deposit level of Senior Citizens’ Saving Scheme from ₹15 lakh to ₹30 lakh. She also announced enhancing the maximum deposit limit for Monthly Income Accounts Scheme from ₹4.5 lahks to ₹9 lahks for single accounts, and ₹9 lakh to ₹15 lakh for joint accounts.
She further said that the government would also promote general artisans by providing the required amount of financial assistance, skill training modern green technologies and further contacts from local and global market in order to increase their sales.
