Premanand Maharaj: In Hinduism, the Tulsi plant is considered very sacred and important. It is said that this plant is a form of Goddess Lakshmi, and it is planted with reverence in every home. But sometimes, due to proper care and the scattering of seeds, the Tulsi plant starts spreading more than necessary. In such a situation, people wonder what to do if the Tulsi plant spreads excessively. A woman approached the well-known Baba Premanand Maharaj of Vrindavan-Mathura with a similar question.

The female devotee asked Maharaj ji, "The Tulsi plant spreads excessively in the courtyard of my house, which increases the risk of many mosquitoes and snakes lurking around. So what should I do?" Premanand Maharaj simply answers this by saying that to prevent the house from becoming like a jungle or attracting snakes, we should keep the Tulsi plant in a separate pot. If Tulsi plants sprout in several places in the courtyard due to scattered seeds, those plants should not be uprooted and thrown away. They should be given with reverence to someone else who wants to plant them.

Establish Tulsi seeds in a safe place

Further, Premanand Maharaj explains that if no one is found to take the Tulsi seeds, then those seeds should be established in a safe and clean place. They should be established in a place where no one will be disturbed. However, the Tulsi plant in one pot in the house should be properly worshipped and cared for. This maintains positive energy in the house and also protects against unnecessary problems.'
