Regarding this incident, Brazil's Rio Grande do Sul Governor Eduardo Leite told the media that the owner and pilot of the plane, Luiz Claudio Galeazzi, and 9 members of his family died.

Galeazzi's company Galeazzi & Asociados has confirmed the incident that its CEO and Galeazzi's wife and 3 daughters have died in this accident. The company said in a LinkedIn post that Luiz Galeazzi will always be remembered for his dedication to his family and his career as the leader of Galeazzi & Asociados.
