Lebanon Pager Explosion: These blasts have taken place amid the ongoing violence between Hezbollah and Israel. In the meanwhile there has been a serial blast in Lebanon. However more than a thousand people have been injured in the pager blast. Hezbollah fighters and health workers are also among these injured.

Iran's ambassador Mojtaba Amani was injured in the explosion

Though Hezbollah official has described it as the biggest security lapse in the nearly one-year conflict with Israel. An atmosphere of fear has been created among the people after the incident. All though the situation still remains unstable with reports of more explosions in southern Lebanon and the capital Beirut.

Several people have injured in the pager blast

An attack was carried out in Lebanon targeting Hezbollah, though housands of pagers of Hezbollah members have exploded in Lebanon According to the Lebanese, Health Ministry Firas Abiad has confirmed the incident and said that hundreds of people have been injured in incidents across the country.

Hezbollah has blamed Israel for this attack

They also claimed that this is the "biggest security breach" so far. Hezbollah said that all the pagers exploded at almost the same time and this is a violation of its communication network by Israel.

Ambulances seen running in Beirut

While after the explosion, many ambulances were seen running towards hospitals in the southern areas of Beirut. A source said that "hundreds of Hezbollah members were injured due to explosions in their pagers" in Hezbollah's strongholds located in the southern suburbs of Beirut.

Hospitals on high alert

The Lebanese Red Cross said in a statement on X that it is on "high alert", though Hezbollah has been attacking Israel. In the while Israeli army has refused to comment on these blasts.
