Dominance of Brazil's Claudiney Batista

The F56 discus throw competition saw Brazilian athlete Claudiney Batista continue his dominance in the sport. Batista, who had also claimed gold at the Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 Paralympics, delivered an exceptional performance in Paris. He broke the Paralympic record with his second throw, reaching an impressive 46.45 meters. Batista then surpassed his own record with a final throw of 46.86 meters, securing his third consecutive Paralympic gold.
