The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding dense fog in Delhi and rain in UP-Bihar. Apart from this, according to the data released by the department, the minimum temperature of Delhi in early December has been recorded below five degrees Celsius for the first time in 37 years.
Cold wave is going on in the whole country
The lowest minimum temperature of this winter was recorded in the national capital on Wednesday. During this, the minimum temperature was recorded at 4.9 degrees Celsius. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said, the minimum temperature recorded at Safdarjung was 4.9 degrees Celsius, this is the lowest temperature of this season.
Last year also, the minimum temperature was recorded at 4.9 degrees Celsius on December 15. The maximum temperature in the national capital Delhi was recorded at 23 degrees Celsius on December 11.

The IMD said that the minimum temperature in early December has been recorded below five degrees Celsius for the first time in 37 years. According to the data, the lowest minimum temperature during this period was recorded at 4.1 degrees Celsius on December 6, 1987.
Yellow alert has been issued
According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be 23 degrees Celsius on December 12. Apart from this, there is a possibility of cold wave and dense fog in the national capital for the next two days, due to which the department has also issued a yellow alert. There may be rain in UP
The weather in Uttar Pradesh has started showing the effect of cold by taking a turn. The department has issued a rain alert in the state. According to the forecast, a rain alert has been issued for 11 and 12 December in the state. These include Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Moradabad, Amroha, Rampur, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Sambhal, Mathura, Pilibhit, Bareilly, Lakhimpur Kheri, Badaun, Shahjahanpur, Aligarh, Hathras.

The temperature in Uttar Pradesh is expected to fall to 4 degrees in the coming days of December. At the same time, the minimum temperature in the state reached 8 degrees Celsius in the last 24 hours. The cold has increased due to the flow of westerly winds in Bihar. According to the department, there is going to be severe cold in the state in the coming days. The temperature is falling very fast after 5 pm in the state.

The weather of Himachal Pradesh is changing. Most places in Himachal Pradesh recorded minimum temperatures three to five degrees below normal on Wednesday, while some areas also witnessed light snowfall.
