Devender Yadav said that it was the height of irresponsibility by the Aam Aadmi Party that it had mocked the Lt. Governor when he expressed concern at the collapse of the city’s civic infrastructure, and directed the Chief Secretary to ensure regular inspection of drains and desilting works as the drains and sewers had not been cleaned for the past 10 years. He said that the AAP, instead of acknowledging its lapses, said that the monsoon season was over, and the LG was acting late, but yet another heavy showers this morning water-logged most parts of Delhi.  AAP-ruled MCD and Delhi Government had caused the deaths of 30 people in rain-related mishaps in the past one and a half months this monsoon season, yet the civic agencies and the Aam Aadmi Party attempted to deflect accountability.
