Late Saturday night, a 3.0 magnitude earthquake struck Hasbrouck Heights area of New Jersey. According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), the depth of the earthquake was about 10 kilometers. The tremor was felt in many areas of New York City, Westchester and Rockland. Videos of the tremors during the earthquake went viral on social media.
