How Did Vaibhav Arora Get Out?
In the 18th over of KKR’s innings, Jaydev Unadkat was bowling for SRH. Vaibhav Arora was on strike. He edged the ball and it hit his pad, bouncing towards the off-side. Harshit Rana, standing at the non-striker's end, called him for a quick single.
Vaibhav started running, but after crossing half the pitch, he slowed down thinking he was safe. That’s when Unadkat quickly picked up the ball and threw it at the stumps. The ball hit the wicket directly. Replays showed that Vaibhav's foot was still in the air when the stumps were broken. He was given out for zero runs (duck).
Klaasen's Century Powers Hyderabad to Huge Win
Earlier in the match, Henrik Klaasen played a stunning innings, scoring 105 runs off just 39 balls with 9 sixes and 7 fours. He got strong support from Travis Head (76 runs) and Ishan Kishan (29 runs). Thanks to their explosive batting, Sunrisers scored 278 runs, which is the third-highest total in IPL history.
KKR Struggles to Chase the Big Target
In reply, KKR couldn’t build momentum. Their batting line-up crumbled under the pressure of the huge score. Only Manish Pandey (37), Harshit Rana (34), and Sunil Narine (31) managed to score above 30.
Sunrisers' bowlers — Unadkat (3/24), Harsh Dubey (3/34), and Ishan Malinga (3/31) — were brilliant with the ball. KKR was bowled out for 168 in 18.4 overs, losing the match by 110 runs.
SRH Finishes Strong in the Points Table
Both teams were already out of the playoff race, but SRH finished their campaign on a high note. They now stand sixth with 13 points from 14 matches, while KKR ends in eighth place with 12 points.
