Dhurandhar Shines Overseas; Monday Box Office Higher Than Friday

Spy action entertainer Dhurandhar continues its impressive run across international markets, delivering an outstanding Monday that surpassed its opening Friday performance. The genre-defying spy–gangster drama from Jio Studios × B62 Studios, directed by Aditya Dhar, is maintaining excellent traction overseas on the back of positive word of mouth and solid audience response. The film grossed higher on Monday (Day 4) with US$ 890K (INR 8 crore) than Friday (Day 1) when it collected US$ 800K (INR 7.2 crore) which is rare and shows the immense love pouring in from audiences across the globe taking Dhurandhar to a massive 4 days total of US$ 4.72mn (INR 42.48 crores) Key territories including Australia, the UK and Canada have recorded strong occupancies, with several centres reporting housefull shows through the weekday . With this momentum, Dhurandhar is outperforming several major Hindi releases of the year overseas, including Chhaava, Saiyaara, War 2; Ranveer Singh’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, and last year’s biggest hit, Jio Studios’ Stree 2.
