Border 2 Box Office: Sunny Deol Film Crosses Rs 450 Crore Worldwide in 17 Days
Sunny Deol’s Border 2 has crossed Rs 450 crore worldwide in 17 days, with Rs 309.4 crore nett collection in India.
Sunny Deol-starrer war drama Border 2 has grossed over Rs 450 crore at the global box office in 17 days, the makers said on Monday.
The film has earned Rs 458.16 crore gross worldwide, according to a post shared by music label T-Series on social media. “Born from courage and duty, the spirit of the film continues to hold firm worldwide,” the post read.
As per industry tracker Sacnilk, Border 2 has collected Rs 309.4 crore nett in India. The film earned Rs 244.97 crore nett in its first week and Rs 70.15 crore nett in the second week.
The third week began with a collection of Rs 2.85 crore nett on Friday. It was followed by Rs 5.25 crore nett on Saturday and Rs 6.90 crore nett on Sunday. The film recorded an overall occupancy of 21.15 per cent on Day 17.
Border 2 is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J P Dutta and Nidhi Dutta. The film also features Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh and Medha Rana in key roles.
Directed by Anurag Singh, the film is the second instalment in the franchise that began with JP Dutta’s 1997 war drama Border.
Meanwhile, Rani Mukerji-starrer Mardaani 3 has collected Rs 35.65 crore nett domestically at the end of 10 days in theatres, according to Sacnilk. The film is directed by Abhiraj Minawala.
