Esha Deol for Pillars of Humanity: An initiative by Urvashi Foundation and Archana Kochhar

National, 8th February 2026: An atmosphere of warmth, purpose, and celebration filled the Jamnabai Narsee School Auditorium on Saturday evening as Bollywood star Esha Deol took centre stage at the recently concluded Pillars of Humanity a tribute to individuals whose lives and work continue to anchor and uplift society. Present at the event was Actress Raveena Tandon.

Presented by Ms. Urvashi Thacker, Founder of the Urvashi Foundation, in collaboration with renowned designer Archana Kochhar, the showcase honoured real-life changemakers across education, healthcare, industry, arts, sports, and social impact. The evening brought together an inspiring gathering of dignitaries and supporters including leading producer and real estate developer Anand Pandit and Roopa Pandit, visionary entrepreneurs Ina and Sanjay Arora, Deputy Managing Director fo India’s largest private bank Kaizad and Havovi Barucha, leading ophthalmologist Dr. Himanshu Mehta and Ameeta Mehta, multifaceted personality celebrated for her journey across fashion, cinema and public life Poonam Sinha, Padma Shri awardee Bhawana Somaaya, a woman of vision, passion and style Suchhanda Chatterjee, orthopaedic surgeon, health educator and author Dr. Manan Vora, Income Tax Commissioner Beena Santosh, Ramesh and Maya Patel owners of the Fairfield by Marriot, a passionate supporter of art, culture and social change Neeti Goyal and Managing Director of the world's largest fashion and lifestyle media brand, FashionTV Kashif Khan.

The fashion segment featured a couture presentation by Archana Kochhar, showcasing handwoven silk saris crafted by women weavers from the interiors of Maharashtra. Rooted in heritage and sustainability, the collection celebrated Indian craftsmanship through a contemporary lens, reflecting Kochhar’s philosophy of conscious luxury.

The evening opened with a dynamic performance by Sandip Soparrkar, followed by a soulful live set by Harshdeep Kaur, adding depth and emotion to the narrative. Esha Deol led the powerful grand finale alongside Urvashi Thacker and Archana Kochhar.

Pillars of Humanity stood as a celebration of purpose, compassion, and the power of individuals who continue to be the true pillars of our society.
