NATIONAL, April 1st 2026: The Shakti Collective (TSC), founded by acclaimed composer Sandesh Shandilya and entertainment strategist and curator Rohith Sobti, marks its first anniversary as India’s original cultural house for music, musicals, artist development, and modern storytelling, redefining how artists are discovered, nurtured, and brought to the forefront.

Built with a singular vision of “Unfolding Artist Force,” The Shakti Collective is committed to serving artists at every stage of their journey and enabling them to realise their full creative potential. At a time when India’s music and entertainment landscape is rapidly evolving, TSC is building a first-of-its-kind integrated ecosystem that brings together talent discovery, mentorship, IP creation, film marketing, large-scale mounting, and monetising property for global audiences, designed to prepare, create, produce, and monetise artistic talent while enabling sustainable and scalable careers.

At the heart of The Shakti Collective lies its core belief: “Sadhana bane sadhan, sadhan bani Shakti.” Let your sadhana unfold to become your force.

Over the past year, The Shakti Collective has actively built a strong portfolio of IPs and artist-led initiatives. The Collective has helmed the film Mahavatar Narsimha, contributing to its scale through marketing, monetization, and cultural depth rooted in Indian mythology. Through Main Bhi Artist, curated with Laksh Maheshwari, TSC has created a platform that gives voice to emerging writers and storytellers, positioning storytelling as a powerful cultural force.

A key highlight of the year has been Havells mYOUsic, a movement by Havells curated by The Shakti Collective, focused on discovering, nurturing, and amplifying grassroots musical talent across India. Built as a community-first initiative, the platform moves beyond traditional competition formats to create a space for authentic expression, collaboration, and learning.

The next chapter of Havells mYOUsic will take place in Indore on April 5 at Sage University, bringing together emerging artists, music enthusiasts, and leading industry voices. The event will feature sessions and interactions with Tarsame Mittal, Sandesh Shandilya, Laksh Maheshwari, Rohith Sobti, and Rumpa Banerjee (IPRS), along with live performances by Osho Jain, YUGM, and Harshad and Duhita Goleskar. Selected artists will move forward into a live bootcamp to create original music, reinforcing the platform’s commitment to long-term artist development. Importantly, the movement remains completely free, ensuring accessibility for artists across backgrounds.

At the heart of this ecosystem is TSC Academy, which focuses on nuturing artists from the ground up to professional.. The academy launched Sandesh Shandilya’s masterclass “The heART of Music Composition,” offering direct mentorship from one of India’s most respected composers, and is set to expand with Prasad Khapade’s “The Roots of Hindustani Classical,” along with several upcoming programs of Music Production , Song Writing and The Artist Pathway.. The academy also enables artists to present their original work and transition into performance and release opportunities, creating a seamless pathway from learning to professional practice.

Extending its work beyond entertainment into culture-led initiatives, The Shakti Collective is working closely with Shri Kshetra Datta Dham Pith, Govardhan Nashik, contributing through music creation and building the institution’s cultural and creative identity, further reinforcing its vision of blending tradition with contemporary expression. Strengthening its commitment to independent artists, TSC is also set to launch The Young Guns, an upcoming IP focused on discovering and launching new voices who often lack access to structured platforms, helping them curate, develop, and release their music. In addition, Insta Music League was introduced as a platform for emerging artists across the country, where participants submitted their work and 15 winners were selected and awarded cash prizes, providing them with both visibility and direction.

Speaking on the milestone, Rohith Sobti, Curator and Co-Founder, The Shakti Collective, said, “The Shakti Collective is built with a singular purpose to Unfold the Artist Force. We believe every artist deserves the opportunity to unfold to their full potential, and our role is to discover, nurture, and co-create them with intention. Through our integrated ecosystem, we are creating meaningful pathways for artists to grow, and shape conscious entertainment. Our mission is to serve 1 million plus artists and taking 100 stories to the globe, we are building an artist pathway for their learning, curation, exposure, fandom and monetization.”

As it enters its second year, The Shakti Collective continues to expand its creative universe with upcoming projects, including a new IP of Himalayan Harmonies, The Young Gunns , Divine Trance, along with multiple collaborations like ISKCON and original IPs in development, further strengthening its vision of building a global, professional artist ecosystem.
