Nepal: Everything has changed in Nepal in the last 30 hours. In front of the youth's protest, even the Prime Minister and the President kneeled down and were forced to resign. Protest has completely shaken the Nepal government

Violence, stone pelting, arson and vandalism have been going on in Nepal since yesterday. The youth's protest against the social media ban has completely shaken the Oli government. Five ministers including Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, Agriculture Minister Ramnath Adhikari, Health Minister have had to resign. 20 people died and more than 100 were injured in the violent protest on Monday. Today (Tuesday) also, the Gen-Z protest continues since morning. Incidents of arson, vandalism and stone pelting are being reported in many areas including the capital Kathmandu. The protesters occupied the personal residence of President Ramchandra Paudel, vandalized it and set it on fire.

Despite curfew and strict security arrangements, the scope of protests is increasing and the political crisis is deepening. There is a demand for an alternative government and new leadership in the country. India has issued advisories for its citizens. Wife of former Nepal PM Jhalanath Khanal dies

Ravi Laxmi Chitrakar, wife of former Nepal PM Jhalanath Khanal, has died. The Gen-z protesters had beaten Ravi Laxmi Chitrakar badly and set her house on fire. She was badly burnt in this incident. Ravi Laxmi's family background is associated with Newar society, which is a major community of Nepal. She has often been seen with Jhalanath Khanal in various events and social work.

Nepal Army appeals for peace

The Nepal Army issued a statement saying that we are saddened by the loss of lives and great loss during the Gen-Z movement. We are always ready to protect the country. The Army wishes speedy recovery of the injured. The Army has appealed to the people to protect historical, cultural and national things and maintain peace in this tense situation.

Security increased on India-Nepal border

The youth movement in Nepal forced even the highest leaders of the government to resign. Every possible effort is being made to control the situation.
