The IMD has forecast heavy rainfall in Kerala on April 14, 15, 16, and 17. Strong winds and lightning are also likely in several areas during this period.
Karnataka Weather Update
In Karnataka, similar conditions are expected with heavy rain forecast across multiple districts between April 14 and April 17. The IMD has also warned of strong winds, dust storms, and lightning.
States Under Heavy Rain Alert
The IMD has issued alerts for multiple regions, including Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Puducherry, Mahe, Yanam, Rayalaseema, Karaikal, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, and Nagaland.
The department said several districts may also witness strong winds, lightning, dust storms, and hailstorms during this period.
Authorities have advised residents to stay updated with official weather bulletins and take necessary precautions during adverse conditions.
