Uncle's 'Kidnapping Drama' Exposed: Brutal Assault on Girl and Nude Body Dumped in River

A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from the Madiaon police station area in Lucknow—the capital of Uttar Pradesh—shaking the very foundations of familial bonds and trust. The discovery of the body of a 17-year-old minor girl under suspicious circumstances along the banks of the Gomti River has created a sensation throughout the locality. Acting on a complaint filed by the family, the police have registered a case of rape and murder; furthermore, based on their suspicions, they have taken the deceased girl's maternal uncle into custody for interrogation.

Feigning Pain and Fabricating the Kidnapping of His Niece

According to reports, the girl left her home on Wednesday night accompanied by her maternal uncle. It is alleged that the uncle feigned back pain as an excuse to go out and purchase medicine, thereby taking his niece along with him. About half an hour later, he called the girl's brother, claiming that some unidentified individuals were forcibly taking his sister away in a car and that he was in pursuit of them.

Girl's Undergarments Found by the Riverbank

Upon receiving this information, the family was thrown into a state of panic. Relatives immediately rushed to the specified location, where the maternal uncle was found lying unconscious just outside the village. A short distance away, on the banks of the Gomti River, the girl's clothes and undergarments were discovered. Stunned by this sight, the family members immediately alerted the police.

Girl's Naked Body Recovered from the River

Upon receiving the report, the police arrived at the scene and, with the assistance of the SDRF, launched a search operation in the river. The search continued late into the night, but no leads were found. On Thursday morning, the girl's body was recovered from the river near the Pipariya Bridge. Meanwhile, DCP Gopal Krishna Chaudhary stated that the police received the distress call via Helpline 112 at approximately 9:20 PM. Upon reaching the scene, the maternal uncle was found to be in an intoxicated state.

Further action will be taken based on the findings of the post-mortem report and forensic examination.
