Sanjay Dutt conducts 'Pind Daan' ceremony in Gaya, praying for past, present, and future blessings
Recently, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt performed the 'pind daan' ritual at the Vishnupad Temple in Gaya, Bihar. Sharing a glimpse of the sacred ceremony on Saturday, he posted a video on his Instagram account along with a heartfelt caption expressing his reverence for the tradition. A spiritual journey reconnecting with roots and seeking blessings for the past, present, and future. Grateful for this profound experience that reminds us of our heritage. Jai Bholenath 🙏🏻" The actor specifically prayed for the peace of the souls of his departed parents, Sunil Dutt and Nargis, during the temple visit on Thursday. The 'pind daan' ritual, a Hindu practice, involves paying homage to the deceased. Sanjay Dutt performed this ritual at three holy sites in Gaya: the Phalgu River, Vishnupad Temple, and the Akshay Vat tree. The entire ritual typically takes about two hours and can be completed in a single day.
