In 2023, the actor made a powerful comeback, first with "Pathaan" in January, and then with Atlee Kumar's directorial, "Jawan," in September. Both of these films made history by breaking numerous box office records, but "Jawan" took the crown as the highest-grossing Hindi film ever. As a special treat to SRK's fans on his birthday, the film's creators have unveiled an extended version of "Jawan" on Netflix. In an exciting move, the streaming platform even unveiled a brief announcement video featuring Shah Rukh Khan, where he humorously held Netflix 'hostage.' In the clip, he is shown in conversation with Netflix officials while inside a server room, accompanied by his team. They playfully set a countdown, with the room ready to "detonate" if the film isn't released within the next 120 seconds. The film released on Netflix is an extended version and will be available to stream in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.
