Samsung has announced that its first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2026 will take place on February 25 in San Francisco, where it is expected to introduce the Galaxy S26 lineup.

The company shared official invites on February 10. The keynote will begin at 10AM PT and will be livestreamed on Samsung.com, as well as the company’s newsroom and YouTube channel.

The announcement on February 10 said this launch will mark “a new phase in the era of AI as intelligence becomes truly personal and adaptive.”

Samsung’s 2025 included the launch of new foldables, an ultra thin form factor and Google’s XR platform. After making announcements at CES 2026, the company is now set to hold its first Unpacked event of the year.

While Samsung has not confirmed the devices that will be unveiled, the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra are widely expected to debut.

Based on leaked images, Samsung is likely to retain a similar design to the Galaxy S25 series. The phones are expected to feature a flat front screen and frame with rounded corners. The rear cameras are likely to be placed in a vertical pill shaped module.

The Galaxy S26 series is expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. Korean news site Yonhap News reported that Samsung’s Exynos 2600 chip could be used in some regions, following the company’s earlier strategy of offering different processors based on market.

The Galaxy S26 is reportedly set to feature a 6.3 inch FHD+ display, slightly larger than the 6.2 inch screen on the Galaxy S25. It is expected to offer 12GB RAM, 256GB or 512GB storage and a 4,300mAh battery. Leaks suggest the camera setup will remain unchanged, including a 50 megapixel main sensor, 12 megapixel ultrawide, 10 megapixel 3x telephoto and 12 megapixel front camera.

The Galaxy S26+ is expected to feature a 6.7 inch FHD+ display, a 4,900mAh battery, 12GB RAM and a similar camera system as the base model. The primary upgrade is likely to be the new processor.

According to Android Headlines, the Galaxy S26 Ultra could feature slightly raised cameras with a metallic finish. The report also suggests Samsung may switch back to an aluminum frame after using titanium frames in recent Ultra models.

Rumours indicate Samsung may remove the S Pen digitizer layer and adopt a new method for stylus input to enable proper Qi2 support without requiring a special case.

Android Headlines has also shared image renders of the S26 series, showing the updated camera design and two colour variants of the S26 Ultra.

Nieuwemobiel.nl reported that the S26 series is unlikely to include built in magnets for Qi2 charging. Images of cases with magnetic rings suggest Samsung may continue offering magnetic capability through accessories instead of integrating magnets into the phones.
