CBSE Class 10th, 12th Board Results 2026 Live Updates: There is big news for students who appeared for the CBSE Board Examinations in 2026. The Board may issue an official notification regarding the exact date and time of the results at any moment. This year, the examinations were conducted between February and April, and the Board is now in the final stages of releasing the results. CBSE is typically known for announcing results suddenly without prior notice; therefore, students are advised to keep their admit cards and roll numbers ready.
The Board will upload the scorecards on its official websites: cbseresults.nic.in and results.cbse.nic.in.
According to the latest updates, the evaluation of answer sheets has been completed
Once the results are declared, students will be able to check their scores not only on the official websites but also via the UMANG App, DigiLocker, and SMS. Similar to last year, the Board will not announce merit lists or distinctions such as 'First' and 'Second' divisions this time around, in an effort to prevent unhealthy competition among students. However, the Board will award Merit Certificates to the top 0.1% of students.
To pass the examination, students must secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject. To avoid technical glitches, the CBSE has utilized cloud-based servers this time, ensuring that millions of students can access their results simultaneously without any interruptions.
When will the Class 10 Compartment Exam be held?
The Board will announce the schedule for the Class 10 compartment examination shortly after the results are released. Typically, however, this examination is conducted in July or August. This exam is crucial for students who were unable to pass the Board examinations on two previous attempts.
Re-evaluation Window to Open After Results
A few days after the CBSE results are published, the Board will provide facilities for re-evaluation and verification of marks. Students who are dissatisfied with their scores will be able to apply for these services upon payment of the prescribed fee. As in previous years, the entire process will be conducted online this time as well.
Separate Login for Schools to Access Results
The CBSE has established a separate result login system specifically for school administrations. Schools will be able to download the complete result data for all their students in a single batch. This will facilitate result analysis at the school level and assist in formulating future academic plans.
