Another paper leaked in Gujarat, Junior Clerk Examination Cancelled

Gujarat Government’s Competitive Examination for the selection of Junior Clerk which was Scheduled to be conducted today 29th of January 2023, is being Canceled, in case of Paper is leaked prior to the examination.  The exams were scheduled for Sunday at 11 a.m.


The Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board (GPSSB) Secretary on Sunday in a press statement announced that due to a paper leak, the junior clerk exams have been canceled. According to the State Board panchayat, one suspect is being arrested in the connection with a paper leak.
Talking about the total number of candidates who were supposed to appear in the examination, a total of about  9.5 lakh candidates had registered for the exam for 1,181 posts which were to be held at 2,995 centers across the state.
police detained a suspect and recovered a copy of the question paper of the exam early Sunday morning, after which the Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board decided to “postpone” the exam in the wider interest of the candidates, the board said in a statement.
Speaking about the serious matter, opposition party member  Manish 
Doshi has now claimed that this is about the 12th examination which is being canceled in the last 12 years due to a paper leak. Gujarat Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) president Isudan Gadhvi took to Twitter to target the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in the state over the paper leak issue.

BJP Government has now given a free transport facility to all the candidates who were supposed to appear for their examination today.
