SBI user’s attention! You will not be able to make online payments tomorrow, this is the reason

State Bank of India has announced that its internet banking, YONO Lite and all its related services will be closed tomorrow i.e. on 7 September 2025. The bank said that these services will be temporarily closed due to scheduled maintenance from 1:20 am to 2:20 pm Indian time. During this time, UPI Lite and ATM services will remain operational. SBI has advised its customers to plan their online transactions by looking at the timing to avoid any inconvenience.

The bank has said that the service of Yono banking will be disrupted on 7 September 2025.

State Bank of India (SBI) has issued a notification to its customers. In which the bank said that due to maintenance, internet banking, retail, merchant, YONO Lite, CINB, YONO Business Web and Mobile App and YONO services will be affected.

When will the service be closed?

SBI has said that its internet banking, YONO Lite and other services will be closed on September 7, 2025 between 1:20 am and 2:20 pm Indian time due to scheduled maintenance for about an hour. However, UPI Lite and ATM services will be available during this time. According to the SBI website, UPI Lite and ATM services will be available during this time.

What is UPI Lite?

According to the website of National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI), UPI Lite is a payment solution designed to make transactions worth less than Rs 1,000 in a fast and PIN-less way.

Limit of UPI Lite

The limit of UPI Lite is a maximum of Rs 1,000 daily. Also, the cumulative usage is Rs 10,000 per day. Also, the maximum balance limit that can be made available in a UPI LITE account at any time is Rs 5000.

Green PIN- Use the PIN generation menu to create a new PIN for your card.

Balance Inquiry- SBI customers can use this service to check the available balance in their account in real time. They can also choose the ‘Go Green’ option by selecting the View option as soon as the balance appears on the screen.

Mini Statement- The mini statement provides customers with information about the last 10 transactions in their account.

Credit Card Payment (Visa)- Customers can use this service to pay bills of any Visa credit card
