Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always motivated and encouraged India and the world to utilize Clean and Green Energy. Under the guidance of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and inspired by the vision of the Prime Minister, Gujarat this time presented a tableau on the theme of “Clean-Green Energy Efficient Gujarat” on the 74th Republic Day in New Delhi.
This ‘Clean-Green Energy Efficient Gujarat’ tableau presented by the Government of Gujarat has achieved the 1st rank in the People’s choice award among 17 states which were participants at the national level celebration and parade of the 74th Republic Day.
Clean-Green Energy Efficient Gujarat:
Gujarat has successfully achieved the goal of producing and utilizing Clean and Green Energy with a focus on use of non-conventional energy sources like solar energy and wind energy, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi India has already established Asia’s 1st solar park at Charanka in Patan Not only that, but Gujarat also became the 1st state in India to start a dedicated Climate Change Department. World’s Largest Hybrid Renewable Energy Park is taking its shape at Kutch under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.
Talking about the Tableaue: Gujarat’s tableau displayed the World’s Largest Hybrid Renewable Energy Park at Khawda in Kutch, Modhera village-country’s first 24×7 solar-powered village through BESS (Battery Energy Storage System), the well-being of farmers under PM-KUSUM yojana through solar rooftop and canal rooftop energy system. The energy revolution that took place was displayed along with, the traditional dresses of Kutch, Bhungas, White Desert, artistic plastering of clay, Ship of the Desert-Camel and Gujarat’s cultural heritage like Ras-Garba.
Another great thing to be mentioned is that the Ministry of Defence, Government of India initiated the ‘Best Troop’ category and ‘Best Tableau’ category through the “My Gov platform” for the “People’s Choice Award”.
This year, online voting was conducted from January 26 to 28, 2023. Among the total votes, Gujarat’s tableau received the highest number of votes and has been declared a Winner under the People’s Choice Award.
After the win of Gujarat, Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel thanked everyone for choosing the Gujarat tableau and said that this is a victory for every one of Gujarat. Under the guidance of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Gujarat has been continuously innovating and showing the way for India and the world. He added that Gujarat has successfully tried to send a beautiful message through this tableau by associating the cultural heritage of the state with renewable energy.

This prestigious award was presented by the Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Defense, Shri Ajay Bhatt to Smt. Avantika Singh, Secretary to the Chief Minister and Director of Information, at an award distribution ceremony held in New Delhi on 31 January 2023.
Deputy Director of Information Shri Pankaj Modi and Shri Sanjay Kachot had an important contribution in the presentation of this tableau. The Tableau is produced by Smart Graph Art Advertising Pvt. Ltd in Ahmedabad.
