Reaction of the Government of India
The Government of India has also openly opposed this attack on the temple. The Ministry of External Affairs on Sunday strongly condemned this 'hateful act'. In an official statement, the ministry has called upon local law enforcement officials to take strict action against those responsible for these acts and ensure adequate security of places of worship.
Demanded investigation
The Coalition of Hindus of North America, an organization working for Hinduism in North America, has drawn attention to such incidents that have happened before and has demanded a thorough investigation.

The organization made public the names of 10 temples and claimed that there have been incidents of vandalism or desecration in them in the last few years.
Temples have been attacked before as well
This is not the first incident. In September, the BAPS Hindu temple in Sacramento, California was desecrated, and slogans were written on the wall saying, 'Hindus go back!'. The investigation has not yet revealed who is the accused in this.
