Delhi Police FIR against AAP for posting AI-generated videos of PM Modi-Amit Shah
Delhi Assembly Election 2025: The Delhi Police has filed an FIR against the AAP accusing it of posting AI-generated videos of Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. According to the complaints, the videos were shared from January 10 to 13, portraying the BJP leaders as villains.
Recently four separate FIRs have been registered against Aam Aadmi Party, in which serious allegations have been made. These FIRs include allegations of spreading derogatory content against the Prime Minister and Home Minister and hurting the dignity of constitutional posts.
Case registered under sections of IT Act
According to the first FIR, AAP shared derogatory posts and animated content against the Prime Minister and Home Minister on social media. These posts are said to be designed with the aim of 'inciting public sentiments'. A case has been registered against the party under various sections of BNS and IT Act.
Accused of tarnishing the image
In the second FIR, AAP is accused of posting misleading content using the morphed voice of the Home Minister. These posts were prepared to disturb religious harmony and tarnish the image of the Home Minister.
Damaging the social fabric
The third FIR alleges that AAP circulated morphed pictures and misinformation against the Prime Minister. This material was shared with the aim of 'damaging the social fabric' and tarnishing the image of the Prime Minister
The fourth FIR accuses social media influencer Ram Gupta of spreading misleading information about the Prime Minister's residence. The post said that the Prime Minister's residence has been renovated for Rs 2,700 crore. In the FIR, this claim has been described as completely false and misleading the public.
Poster war continues in Delhi
It is worth noting that in the election environment, political parties are resorting to everything from the Internet to poster banners to target each other. AAP targeted BJP through another poster and accused MPs and Union Ministers of creating fake votes.

Kejriwal accuses BJP of luring voters
Aam Aadmi Party's national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party was distributing money and gold chains to lure voters ahead of the upcoming Delhi assembly elections. However, the BJP dismissed the allegations as fabricated and said they reflect Kejriwal's desperation.
