The Indian Army also retaliated and destroyed many Pakistani posts one by one. Apart from this, an encounter took place between terrorists and security forces in Bandipura district of Jammu and Kashmir today. Officials said that the security forces started a cordon and search operation in the Kulanar Bajipura area of ​​​​Bandipura district after receiving information about the presence of terrorists in the area.

Pakistan opened fire on the Line of Control

He said that the hidden terrorists opened fire on the security personnel. After this, the search operation turned into an encounter. Officials said that there is no news of any casualty in the incident so far. Security forces are conducting search operations so that the terrorists can be caught.

The army gave a befitting reply

An army official said that the Indian Army gave a befitting reply to the firing by the Pakistani Army at some places on the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir on the night of April 25. No one is reported to be injured in this firing.

28 people died in the Pahalgam terrorist attack, after which tension between the two countries increased again. An army source said that there were incidents of firing from small arms from Pakistan at some places on the Line of Control, in which a befitting reply was given due to the readiness of the Indian Army.

Army Chief will review Pakistan's efforts

Defense officials said that Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi will soon leave for Srinagar and Udhampur. He said that he will review the current security situation in the valley and the efforts of the Pakistani Army to violate the ceasefire on the Line of Control. According to officials, General Upendra Dwivedi will meet senior military commanders posted in the Kashmir Valley as well as officials of other security agencies.

Security beefed up here too

In the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack, security has beefed up in the border. SP Gaurav Yadav has confirmed that officials are on high alert. Similarly, in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand, IG Riddhim Aggarwal said that Nainital district has also been put on high alert, with strict surveillance in public areas and security beefed up across the region.

One soldier martyred in Udhampur

Security forces are on alert mode since the terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Recently, during a search operation, an encounter took place between terrorists and security forces in Dudu-Basantgarh of Udhampur. One soldier was martyred in this encounter. Earlier, the army killed 2 terrorists in Baramulla, from whom weapons and IEDs were recovered.
