Karnataka Ex Top Cop's Property Fight With Wife Ended In Grisly Murder

Former Karnataka DGP Om Prakash's wife said that when we were struggling to save our lives, we used chilli powder. After pouring chilli powder, the former DGP's hands and legs were tied and he was stabbed with a knife. Then Om Prakash died due to excessive bleeding.

In the case of murder of former Karnataka DGP Om Prakash, his wife and daughter are currently in police custody. Police is interrogating both of them.

Ex Karnataka DGP was brutally killed by his wife

Both have made many important revelations during the interrogation. Police have come to know that former DGP Om Prakash's wife Pallavi threw chilli powder on his face before stabbing him. Om Prakash started feeling burning sensation after the chilli powder fell on him.

He was running here and there to get relief from the burning sensation, then Pallavi tied his hands and legs, then stabbed him several times with a knife, due to which he died on the spot.

At present, the post-mortem of Om Prakash's body will be done today.

Former DGP Om Prakash's wife Pallavi said that there was a quarrel going on in the house for a week. Om Prakash would repeatedly come with a gun and threaten me and my daughter. He was threatening to shoot. There was a quarrel going on in the house since Sunday morning over various issues.

Om Prakash quarreled in the afternoon and tried to kill us.

Om Prakash's wife Pallavi told in a statement to the police that we struggled to save our lives. This accident happened in that. Wife poured chilli powder on former DGP. Former DGP Om Prakash's wife told that when we were struggling to save our lives, we used chilli powder and oil.

Wife ‘threw chilli powder’ on DGP

After pouring chilli powder, his hands and legs were tied and stabbed with a knife. Then Om Prakash died due to excessive bleeding. In the evening, wife Pallavi informed the local police about this. Pallavi will be the first accused in this case. Police is also investigating the role of the daughter in the murder. Both are currently in police custody

Police is questioning mother and daughter

The murder case of former DGP Om Prakash (68) has created a stir in Karnataka. Om Prakash's son has lodged a complaint regarding the incident. Additional Commissioner of Police (West Division) Vikas had said last Sunday night that Om Prakash's wife and daughter have been taken into custody and are being questioned.

Om Prakash, a 1981 batch IPS officer from Bihar, has a three-storey house in Bengaluru's posh area HSR Layout. It has also been learned that this crime has been committed in a land dispute in Dandeli, Karnataka. A few months ago, Pallavi had approached the HSR Layout police station to lodge a complaint.

Former DGP Om Prakash was a resident of Bihar

Sources claimed that when the staff there did not listen to her complaint, she staged a sit-in in front of the police station. It has also been learned that Pallavi was suffering from schizophrenia and was also taking medication.
