Pakistan Violates LoC Ceasefire For 7th Consecutive Night
Tension has increased on the Line of Control (LoC) since the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. Pakistan is repeatedly violating the ceasefire. Pakistan has violated the ceasefire on the Line of Control (LoC) for the seventh consecutive day. On the intervening night of 30th and 1st May, Pakistani army posts fired small arms without provocation across the Line of Control in front of Kupwara, Uri and Akhnoor in Jammu and Kashmir.

Earlier on the sixth and fifth nights also, the Pakistani army had violated the ceasefire and fired on the Line of Control. On the night of 28-29 April, the Pakistani army opened fire across the Line of Control in Kupwara and Baramulla and Akhnoor sectors.

Even though on the fourth night also, the Pakistani army violated the ceasefire and opened fire. On the night of 27-28 April, Pakistani army posts opened fire with small arms without provocation across the Line of Control in the areas of Kupwara and Poonch districts. To which the Indian Army responded effectively.
Pakistan Violates LoC Ceasefire
In view of the cross-border relations after the Pahalgam attack, India announced several punitive measures last Wednesday, including suspending the 65-year-old Indus Water Treaty, closing the Attari land border crossing and expelling the Pakistani military attache.
Summary
New Delhi has directed all Pakistanis entering the country through the Attari border to leave the country by May 1. In response, Pakistan on Thursday announced the suspension of trade with New Delhi, including third countries.
